Established in 2018, the Social Innovation Fund is the first national policy designed “to promote innovative models that aim at tackling emerging social needs, with the involvement of actors and funding also from the private sector, according to the scheme of impact finance”.
We are playing an active role in this experimentation which consists of distinct and progressive interventions: feasibility study (year I), experimentation (year II), systematization (year III).
The Municipality of Rome, Department of Cultural Activities (DAC), we are the lead partner of the technical partnership that supports DAC in the Impacting Rome project (with University of Rome Tor Vergata, Project Ahead, HER, Reter) aimed at fostering and accelerating innovation in the cultural sector of the city;
The City of Florence, “Flow@work” project, in which we play a role of general coordination of the technical aspects of the project, as well as dealing with the impact cycle. The project consists in the insertion of disadvantaged people ex lege 381/91 through training and contact with possible employers of the Florentine territory within a hub that aims to become a focal point of the city;
The Municipality of Bari, project “BIS – Bari Innovazione Sociale”, a project of urban redevelopment and regeneration of the Libertà neighborhood, achieved through the social empowerment of the citizens of the neighborhood, facilitated by the mediation work of entities and associations present in the neighborhood. We work on the social impact framework, and social finance mechanisms.
